Communications

Communications privacy policy.

This policy covers the private NEA Nights communications app and its connected accounts.

Last updated September 11, 2026.

What we access

With the account owner’s permission, the app has read-only Gmail access to the company mailbox. It reads conversations involving events@neanights.com, including senders, recipients, subjects, dates, message text, attachment names and file types. It does not download attachment files, send mail, or change messages.

When connected, it reads information about NEA Nights’ own Facebook and Instagram accounts and posts: captions, dates, links, media formats and performance counts. The publishing connection can post or schedule content staff have approved, and read whether it was delivered.

How we use it

We use correspondence to research events, find corrections, avoid contacting someone twice, and prepare drafts. We use our own social measurements to see how posts performed.

Approved content is sent to Facebook and Instagram for publication. We keep account and post records to confirm publication and avoid duplicates. Authorized staff review all of this in private company tools. Our hosting provider stores it. Relevant message text may go to an AI drafting service. Account credentials never do.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising targeting, or use it to train a generalized artificial intelligence model. NEA Nights communications’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Where it is kept

Connection credentials are held in encrypted storage. Message text, research drafts and performance notes are kept in private company records. Saved records stay until authorized staff remove them.

Ask us to delete it

Email contact@neanights.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” Tell us which correspondence, account or post you mean, and what you want removed. Do not include passwords or access tokens. We will confirm the request, check that you are authorized, and explain anything we have to keep.

For a published post, include its link. Disconnecting an account or deleting a draft does not remove a post that is already public.

The account owner can revoke Google access through Google Account connections, or revoke Meta access in the account’s business integration settings. Revoking stops future collection but does not delete records we already saved.

Questions

Contact contact@neanights.com about this policy. We will update this page when the app’s data practices change.
